Sanmiwago opened in 2023, serving Taiwanese dumplings at affordable prices to customers throughout New York City. Since its inception, it has expanded to three locations.
“Since then, our mission has been to provide high-quality dumplings, hot drinks, soups and many more for all those that wish to combine fun and enjoyable ambiance with skillful cooking into one extraordinary dining experience,” the website states.
Now, another location is in the works in the Financial District. Construction is underway on the location at 62 Williams Street, according to reporting by the Tribeca Citizen.
This is not the only location in the works for the brand. It is also planning a new spot in Midtown, and there is a spot at 64 Seventh Avenue that is listed as “coming soon” on the website and “temporarily closed” on Google. Yelp is reporting that the location along Seventh Avenue is expected to open on July 1.
As of now, an exact opening timeline for the FiDi location remains unknown. However, it is expected to open by July, as well. Owner Jeff Liu previously told What Now New York that he plans to continue to expand the brand in the city.
