A second outpost of the new takeout and delivery spinoff of Buffalo Wild Wings is coming to 225 First Avenue in the East Village, joining nearly half a dozen other wing spots nearby.
The takeout and delivery-centric spinoff concept called Buffalo Wild Wings Go launched its flagship in Atlanta in 2020, which features a walk-up counter, digital menu boards and limited seating as well as takeout lockers for a hassle-free, contactless to-go experience. Dozens of outposts have since cropped up around the country, however New York City only saw its first location last month at 455 Park Avenue South in Nomad. The second outpost, which is taking over the space formerly occupied by Crab Du Jour, is set to face stiff competition with Dan and John’s, Atomic Wings, Koko Wings and Wingstop all within the neighborhood.
“We are thrilled to introduce the Buffalo Wild Wings GO brand in the East Village, our second location in Manhattan,” says Jack Litman, President of The Munson Restaurant Group, in a statement. “GO makes it easy and convenient to get Buffalo Wild Wings fan favorites for pickup or delivery. We look forward to opening this fall and bringing approximately 30 jobs to the East Village community.”
