A new restaurant is heading to the Upper East Side. Calaveras Social will bring Mexican flavors to 240 East 75th St., according to community board filings.

Owner Victor Martinez, who is also behind Calaveras Corner and The Calaveras NYC located on the Upper West Side, shared during the meeting for Community Board 8 that Calaveras Social will serve as a Mexican coffee shop in the morning and a full-service Mexican restaurant in the evening.

The spot will have approximately 54 seats inside. The proposed hours of operation are 8 a.m. to 12 a.m. on weekdays, with hours extended to 1 a.m. or 2 a.m. on weekends.

Menu items at The Calaveras NYC include tacos, enchiladas, carne asada, burritos and pan-seared salmon. The beverage program includes margaritas, signature cocktails, wine and beer.

As of now, an opening timeline is still forthcoming. The community board approved the business’s application.
