Primehouse Steak & Sushi, located in the heart of Garden City, has been a local favorite for the past six years. The restaurant offers vibrant indoor and outdoor seating, along with high-quality prime steak, sushi, and seafood. The restaurant is well known for dishes like classic lobster bisque, king lobster roll, short ribs, king cut, and more.
Through an Instagram post, the restaurant shared that it will be bidding farewell to the city this January. The restaurant said, “After over six incredible years in Garden City, Primehouse will be closing its doors this January.” The restaurant expressed great appreciation and gratitude to the community for its support over the years.
The restaurant has also extended an invitation to its customers to join them in celebrating its final chapter. “We invite you to join us for one more holiday season of meals, celebrations, and moments together,” added the restaurant.

The restaurant has launched a special ‘Midweek Farewell Promotion’ to thank its guests. Throughout the month of December, from Monday to Wednesday, diners can enjoy Primehouse’s Steak & Sushi Prix Fixe menu for $69.
“To show our appreciation, we’re offering a special Midweek Farewell Promotion—a $69 Steak & Sushi pre-fixe menu available Monday–Wednesday from 4:30 to 6:30 PM throughout December,” shared the restaurant.
The closure announcement has surprised the local community and loyal customers of the restaurant. Several fans filled the comments section of the restaurant’s Instagram post with heartfelt messages.
