Extending its footprint to New York State, Sprouts Farmers Market will debut in Centereach on January 30. The grocer’s first new store of this year will bring its fresh and natural food to the locals. It is set to host a series of activities to kick off the opening from January 30 to February 1.

Sprouts to Hold Pop-Up Party

Located at 1934 Middle Country Road, Sprouts Farmers Market will be hosting an opening ceremony on Friday at 6:45 AM, while the doors to the store will open at 7 AM, as per the company’s website. The grocer will hold an outdoor pop-up party from 7 AM to 5 PM.

It will feature giveaways, a DJ, tasting bars with seasonal produce and free samples, along with other family events. The pop-up will be held from 7 AM to 5 PM on Saturday, January 31, and from 9 AM to 4 PM on Sunday, February 1.

“The arrival of Sprouts Farmers Market is a great win for Centereach,” said Councilman Neil Manzella.

“Our community has been in need of a supermarket, and Sprouts not only meets that need but does so with a strong focus on quality and community involvement. It’s clear they have great people behind this project, and I’m excited to see the positive impact they’ll have and the success they’ll achieve here,” Manzella said.

Opening incentives and Loyalty Program Push

Sprouts Farmers Market will give away free reusable goodie bags with samples and special products during the pop-ups. On Friday, the first 400 guests to attend will get a free long-stem rose from Falcon Farms Floral.

According to the company, customers who will be making purchases during the opening weekend will get a discount of 20% after they sign up for a Sprouts Rewards account. Sprouts will also be making a donation of $325,000 to the Middle Country Library Foundation.

The contribution is expected to expand education on nutrition, gardening, and wellness programs offered at the library. The opening is set to bring a long-awaited grocery option to Long Island residents and highlight the company’s local engagement.
