New Extended Space and Modern Designs
McCabes Wine & Spirits reopens its doors with wider and easily accessible aisles. Large picture windows bring in abundant natural light at the Upper East Side shop. Contemporary design elements enhance the store’s longtime charm. Visitors can find clean sight lines and white oak built-ins and displays as well.
The renovated space at McCabes features a custom temperature-controlled fine wine and spirits room. Another highlight is a wine tasting area, which opens with weekly tasting experiences.
Extensive Selection Meets Diverse Tastes
Beyond the space upgrade, the renovated McCabes store returns with a 35% expansion in categories, such as Burgundy, Champagne, Tequila, and Kosher wine. This gives McCabes the largest Kosher wine selection on Manhattan’s Upper East Side.
The Upper East Side shop further offers several spirits from local distilleries. Notable names are Kings County Distillery and Fort Hamilton Distillery.
Since 1967, the much-loved liquor store in Manhattan’s Upper East Side has grown as a family-owned business.
McCabes is headed by owner Daniel Mesznik, a veteran wine expert. He was the former general manager of Best Bottles (Upper West Side) and Acker Wines (Lincoln Center). Mesznik supports the Upper East Side through donations and partnerships with local schools, churches, synagogues, and nonprofit organizations.
Longtime patrons and new visitors alike can enjoy McCabes’ expanded wine and spirits selection in its newly renovated Upper East Side space.
