A new destination for curated fashion is officially landing in Manhattan this month. Lavender City Vintage is slated to open its first brick-and-mortar storefront at 53 W 28th St. in mid-July.

In June, ownership secured the 1,000-square-foot retail space in the NoMad/Chelsea corridor, and a recent Instagram video shows it under construction. Once open, the shop is expected to offer a hand-picked selection of high-end vintage apparel, footwear, and designer accessories, bridging the gap between luxury finds and everyday lifestyle essentials.

The move to a permanent location follows a successful string of community appearances, most recently at the Not a Normal Market pop-up in Union Square. These local events have helped cultivate a brand identity rooted in “calm and elegance,” focusing on a simplified and reliable shopping experience. By transitioning from pop-up markets to a historic Manhattan storefront, Lavender City Vintage joins a growing cluster of curated boutiques in the area.
