A custom glass and mirror manufacturing company based in Clearwater, Florida has filed for Chapter 11 proceedings. Tempered Glass Industries, Incorporated, has designed and installed custom glass, mirrors, shower enclosures, and related products across the region for more than 40 years.

The local manufacturer is intending to achieve financial stability through the process as Chapter 11 filings generally allow businesses to restructure finances.

Day-to-day operations are expected to continue during the bankruptcy proceedings.

The company voluntarily submitted a Chapter 11 petition on May 14, 2026. Company president Robert C. Whitlow Jr. signed the petition as the authorized representative.
