Eggstrodinary Restaurants Leetsdale LLC, the entity behind Denver-based breakfast brand Morning Story, has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy. The restaurant is known for its breakfast and brunch offerings.

Financial strain driven by a significant gap between assets and liabilities has led the restaurant to file for bankruptcy. The timing coincides with individual filings of its four affiliated entities.

Eggstrodinary Restaurants Leetsdale LLC Enters Chapter 11 Proceedings

The Morning Story operating entity filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy amid a widening gap between its assets and liabilities. According to the April 14 petition, the debtor reports liabilities of $1,000,001 to $10 million, against assets estimated between $0 and $50,000. Whereas, the assets are in the range of $0 to $50,000.

The details are available through case filings on RK Consultants, which also states that the debtor is a small business debtor as defined in 11 U.S.C. § 101(51D). It is now proceeding under Subchapter V of Chapter 11.

The case is being heard in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Colorado.

As per case filings, the aggregate noncontingent liquidated debts of Eggstrodinary Restaurants Leetsdale LLC are less than $3,424,000. This amount is subject to adjustment on April 1, 2028, and every three years thereafter.
