Timec Services Company, Inc., a Pasadena, Texas-based industrial general contractor serving the energy industry, has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy. Court records show that seven affiliated companies also filed separate Chapter 11 petitions.

PACER records show that the company’s president, James Hebert, signed the petition before it was submitted to the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Texas.

Attorney Thomas D. Berghman of Munsch Hardt Kopf and Harr, P.C. is representing the company in court.

The filing comes even as the industrial maintenance services market continues to expand due to demand for improved asset reliability, longer equipment life, and reduced operational downtime. According to Market Research Future, the market, which includes the oil and gas industry, was estimated at $61 billion in 2025 and is projected to grow at a 5.9% CAGR through 2035.

7 Affiliates File Separately

Case records on Pacermonitor show that other than Timec Services Company, Inc., seven affiliated entities have each filed for Chapter 11. These affiliates have also requested a joint administration of their cases:

The records show that the company submitted a list of creditors with the largest unsecured claims. These include Chevron USA Products, Texas Stress, JBR1 Industrial Services, Flex Feet Rental, United Rentals, SafetyVibe, and other vendors and service providers.

The corporate ownership statement shows that Timec Oil and Gas, Inc. located at 2510 East Sam Houston Pkwy South
Pasadena, Texas 77503 owns 100% of HRI Incorporated, Timec Services Company, Inc., Timec Specialty Services, Inc., Timec Upstream Holdings, LLC, and T.R.S.C., Inc.

Court records also include a unanimous consent, which approved the restructuring of all the eight affiliated TIMEC entities and authorized company executives to file the voluntary petitions. The resolution further approved the retention of Munsch Hardt Kopf & Harr, P.C. as legal counsel and Sonoran Capital Advisors, LLC as financial advisor for the restructuring.
