Jollibee Expands Franchise Development Network

According to PR Newswire, the fast-food chain strengthened its franchise development efforts during the first half of 2026. The agreements bring Jollibee’s U.S. franchise network to seven development groups.

The company said upcoming openings and franchise demand will contribute to its continued North American expansion.

Peter Wright, vice president of franchise development for Jollibee Group North America, reflected on the recent results. He said the company is centering its focus on franchising as part of its long-term expansion strategy. The company is also positive about the “quality” of the prospective franchisees. In addition, the fast-food chain plans to open additional corporate-owned and franchised restaurants later this year.

The upcoming restaurant openings are expected to strengthen the company’s presence in California and New York while widening its reach to new markets.

Franchise Growth Driven by Strong Sales Performance

The press release states that Jollibee has received continued interest from experienced restaurant operators as it grows its franchise program. It cites strong restaurant sales, growing consumer awareness, and global brand recognition for this demand.

According to Jollibee’s 2026 Franchise Disclosure Document, average annual gross sales in 2025 reached approximately $4.91 million for freestanding restaurants and $5.07 million for in-line locations.

The sales figures are likely to support continued interest in Jollibee’s franchise opportunities.
