What Went Wrong for Sincerely Syria?
In a routine inspection conducted by the Orange County Health Care Agency, Sincerely Syria displayed multiple health violations. Based on the same, the agency temporarily suspended the Syrian restaurant’s permit on March 26.
As per the inspection report by the Orange County Health Care Agency, the 3-compartment sink at the food facility had multiple live cockroaches, thereby leading to vermin infestation. Additionally, the inspectors noticed that there were gaps around the pipe in the sink. The temperature of hot water was also not maintained at the Syrian food facility.
Based on the final report by the Orange County Health Care Agency, both Chicama Peruvian Restaurant and Sincerely Syria have been asked to close their operations temporarily. Both the Orange County restaurants can request a hearing within 15 days of the report.
If the restaurants fail to request the hearing, the Orange County Health Care Agency would consider it a waiver of its right to a hearing.
