Array 36, a modern Chinese fine dining restaurant, is getting ready to open a new location in Tustin at 2493 Park Ave, Unit 100.

The company’s second location is set to be one of several new tenants at The District at Tustin Legacy, according to a liquor license application. While an exact opening date has yet to be announced, the restaurant will expand on its existing presence in the region under owner Xinze (Arthur) Zhang. The concept is expected to bring its refined approach to Chinese cuisine to the shopping center.

Array 36 currently operates its first location in San Gabriel at 5449 Rosemead Boulevard, where it has built a steady following. The restaurant focuses on ingredient sourcing, presentation, and service. Its approach blends regional Chinese culinary traditions with contemporary preparation methods. The expansion into Tustin marks the company’s first move beyond its original location.

The District at Tustin Legacy continues to add new dining concepts to its evolving tenant mix. Other incoming restaurants include Tang Tang Karaoke Bar and Lounge, Pho N Mor, and Jabal Coffee House, according to the shopping center’s directory. This will be an excellent landing space for the restaurant, given the center’s steady foot traffic and established retail presence.

The menu at Array 36 features a range of dishes that highlight both traditional and modern Chinese cuisine. Signature offerings include the Array 36 roast duck, served with pancakes and condiments, and sous-vide Szechuan-style beef ribs. Customers can also expect cold appetizers, seafood dishes, and clay pot options.

In addition to its main dishes, the restaurant offers rice and noodle options, dim sum, and desserts. Items such as dan dan noodles, fried rice with black truffle, and mango sago dessert reflect the restaurant’s balance of classic recipes and updated presentations.
