Shoppers will soon be able to enjoy Bafang Dumpling as an option in the Brea Mall food court. CEO Stephanie Peng told What Now Orange County the location at 1065 Brea Mall #2153 aims to open by the end of this year.
“We are so excited because this is our first Orange County Location,” Stephanie told What Now Orange County. “It’s also our first food court model. The menu won’t change, but we will add sodas! We are just so excited to bring a new kind of concept to the food court setting and we believe people are going to love it.”
According to the website, Bafang Dumpling was founded in 1998 by Mr. Lin as a last-resort for a struggling mechanic. It tells the story of a mechanic and teacher who, despite having very little himself, always found a way to feed and nourish students. “He remembered how potstickers not only provided nourishment, but they also brought the kids so much joy,” the website says.
Now, Bafang Dumpling estimates 1.2 billion dumplings sold each year. The menu includes signature potstickers, dumplings, noodles and a selection of milk teas and lattes. The store recently went cashless, so patrons should have a card or digital payment form on hand when trying the authentic flavors of Bafang Dumpling. Learn more at www.bafangdumpling.com.
