Oregon-based java chain Black Rock Coffee Bar is bringing a new location to Murrieta, according to leasing records. The company has signed a lease for a property at 39400 Murrieta Hot Springs Road, in the Margarita Square plaza.

The new coffee shop will occupy a 1,800-square-foot property with a drive-thru. It joins a tenant mix that already includes EōS Fitness, Goodwill, Massage Envy, Jack in the Box, Chevron, and Sylvan Learning Center, among other businesses. Pad 4/5 is specifically earmarked for the Black Rock Coffee Bar.

Founded in 2008, Black Rock Coffee Bar has grown into a national chain. Today, the chain operates mostly in Arizona, Texas, and its home state of Oregon, but also has a few stores in Washington, Idaho, Colorado, and a few in the San Diego area. This signals the brand’s first push into a new market in California.

The brand is known for its signature beverages, including the Blackout, Caramel Blondie, and Fuel Energy drinks, lattes, teas, smoothies, and seasonal specialties. Many locations also offer light breakfast items and pastries.
