Black Rock Coffee Bar may be planning a new location at 2751 W Orangethorpe Ave, according to the Orange County plan-review record.

Founded in 2008 in Beaverton, Oregon, Black Rock Coffee Bar began as a small drive-thru coffee shop. According to the company’s official website, the business was founded by family and built around serving coffee and creating connections with customers. The chain has since expanded beyond its original drive-thru format.

The company offers espresso-based beverages, cold brew, blended drinks and energy drinks. Its menu includes traditional coffee options such as Americanos and lattes, alongside flavored mochas and the company’s signature Fuel energy drinks.

Black Rock’s beverage selection also includes matcha, tea and drinks that can be customized with different flavors and sweetness levels. According to the company’s website, its Fuel drinks are available in regular and sugar-free versions, with iced and frozen preparations.

Food options include breakfast burritos, egg bites, muffins and other quick meals. Availability varies by location, according to the company. Customers can also order coffee online, including the company’s packaged coffee blends.

The Orange County plan-review filing provides a lead for the proposed location, but it does not independently confirm an opening date. The complete premises address is needed to establish the city and identify the specific project before publication.
