Unsung Brewing Company, an award-winning superhero and comic book-themed craft brewery based in Anaheim, is opening a second location — not too far away. OC Health Department records confirm the business is working to open a taproom at 2590 S. Redhill Avenue, Unit C, in the neighboring city of Santa Ana.

Not many details are currently known about the project, as initial plans were just submitted to the county last week. The site is a 1,939-square-foot retail space at the Park & Paseo multi-use building.

The concept produces IPAs, lagers, and specialty brews at a Tustin facility and serves them at its bar in Anaheim near Disneyland. It was founded by Mike Crea, a Certified Cicerone and graduate of the Master Brewers Program at Siebel Institute of Technology, the website states.

It has earned notable industry recognition, including bronze and silver medals at the Great American Beer Festival and two silver medals at the World Beer Cup this year. The business has also placed first and second in multiple years at the 2025 Brewers Cup of California.
