Chaupain Bakery, a local business with two South County locations, is poised to bring its artisanal offerings to John Wayne Airport. The concept was announced recently as one of the many new tenants coming to the travel hub.

It should open at the airport by the end of 2025, reports state. Chaupain Bakery will be taking over part of where Ruby’s and Farmer’s Market are currently located, by gates 8 and 9.

The bakery’s menu features high-quality bread, pastries, and sandwiches, made from locally sourced ingredients, fresh daily. It will be a great option for travelers wanting a savory or sweet meal.

Established by husband-and-wife team Sami and Marie Chaupain, the French-inspired baking concept was founded seven years ago. Chaupain Bakery has grown from its roots at farmers markets to having locations in San Clemente and Laguna Hills.
