Better Buzz Coffee Roasters is working on plans for a new drive-thru café in Perris, permits filed with the city show. The coffee chain, which has grown significantly in SoCal over the last few years, is building a store at 229 Old Nuevo Road.
Documents reveal the store will be constructed on a 1.21-acre lot. The single-story 1,741-square-foot restaurant will have a patio dining area, a drive-thru lane capable of stacking up to 16 vehicles, and 21 parking spaces, one of which is van-accessible. The job valuation is listed at $1.8 million
The architect on record is Conrado Gallardo of Retail AMP Design. Other project collaborators include Lovelace Engineering (structural), GMEP Engineers (mechanical/electrical/plumbing), Edward Don & Company (kitchen consultant), and Melissa Young of My Studio ID for interior design. Permit records show city comments were issued on May 6 and again on June 9.
