Country Kitchen, a longstanding American diner chain, is expanding its California footprint with a third location, IE Business Daily reports. The franchise will be opening an eatery in Rancho Cucamonga, at 8800 Base Line Rd Unit A.
It will be within the Country Village Shopping Center, a recently renovated complex anchored by Stater Bros. and Planet Fitness. It follows Corona and Moreno Valley outposts. The franchisee for the MoVal location, Moe, is the operator for this new restaurant and is excited to grow within the brand.
He signed the 10-year lease for the 3,040-square-foot site in May, and told What Now OC that minor demolition has begun and construction is pending city permit approval. As of now, the opening is tentatively targeted for November 1. The buildout will include a new kitchen, restrooms, and a full dining area with an enclosed patio, records show.
Country Kitchen was founded over 80 years ago and currently operates in multiple U.S. states. The brand is widely known for its classic American breakfasts, burgers, sandwiches, and scratch-made desserts — available all day.
