Flecha Cantina is preparing to open a new waterfront restaurant at 2800 West Coast Hwy, Newport Beach, according to the restaurant’s website. The concept will introduce the brand’s signature blend of elevated Mexican cuisine, handcrafted cocktails, and vibrant hospitality to one of Orange County’s most recognizable waterfront corridors.
The Newport Beach opening in September adds to Flecha Cantina’s existing California locations in Huntington Beach, Las Vegas, and San Diego. The concept is co-owned by actor Mark Wahlberg and was created in partnership with hospitality veteran Randy Sharpe, combining a contemporary dining experience with traditional Mexican flavors and premium tequila offerings. The Newport restaurant is expected to welcome guests later this year.
Located along West Coast Highway with views of Newport Harbor, the new restaurant is set to become a destination for both locals and visitors seeking waterfront dining. Mariner’s Mile has long been home to a collection of popular restaurants and marine businesses, making it a natural fit for Flecha Cantina’s energetic atmosphere and upscale casual concept.
Flecha Cantina’s menu showcases a modern interpretation of classic Mexican dishes, featuring freshly prepared guacamole, tacos, enchiladas, fajitas, seafood specialties, and premium steak options. Guests can also expect an extensive beverage program centered on tequila and mezcal, including cocktails made with Flecha Azul Tequila, as well as margaritas, wine, and beer.
Weekend brunch, happy hour offerings, and private event spaces are available at the brand’s existing locations and may also be featured at the Newport Beach restaurant.
