A new gelato shop is set to open in Dana Point’s Lantern District, bringing a new option to satisfy your sweet tooth. TreLune Dolci will debut at 24722 Del Prado Avenue, just blocks from the harbor and the water in a bustling part of town. Initial plans were just submitted to the county.

Founded by Melba Yongco Consogno, the shop specializes in small-batch gelatos made on-site using all-natural ingredients, free of artificial colors and preservatives. All of its treats are crafted with old-world techniques learned in Tuscany.

TreLune Dolci has a menu of over 30 flavors, including classical options like Fior di Latte and Cioccolato Fondente, traditional flavors such as Pistacchio and Zabaione, seasonal creations like Avocado and Torta di Mele, and sorbets including Banana, Fragola, and Limone.

Records show the gelateria has been officially incorporated as a California General Corporation. It looks like Consogno secured a lease at the property earlier this year.
