Luna Grill Mediterranean Kitchen is opening a new location in San Clemente, according to Orange County Health Department records. The green light has been given for the construction of an outpost of the chain at 700 South El Camino Real.

Known for its fresh, healthy Mediterranean fare, Luna Grill’s menu includes flame-grilled kabobs, roasted chicken, grilled salmon, falafel, fresh hummus, and salads. Plates are served with warm pita and two sides, including Garlic Bonfire Shrimp, Chicken Kabob & Koobideh, and Bistro Beef Kabob.

This upcoming San Clemente store is part of Luna Grill’s recent expansion push after celebrating 20 years in business. San Diego Business Journal reports the company is opening a store every other month, reaching a current portfolio of over 50 units. It has a presence in California and Texas and is working on its Arizona debut currently.

It’s not clear when the eatery will open, as the company did not return repeated requests for comment. But recent job postings show the company is in the hiring phase, looking for a Kitchen Manager for the new location.
