Parlor Woodfire Kitchen & Cocktails, a woodfired pizza and cocktail destination in South County that opened last year, has expanded to take over the lower level of 216 N El Camino Real. Previously only operating on the main floor, the venue now has more room for diners and patrons to enjoy, Greer’s OC writes.

The move has brought about the launch of The Lower Level, a lively new underground space that offers two distinct experiences, the business’s Instagram explains. The El Camino Lounge is a cozy bar with eight seats and retro décor, and Mae Mae’s Den is a 14-seat private dining room that transforms into a game space with billiards, arcade games, darts, and flat-screen TVs.

First opened last July by Russ Bendel’s RJB Restaurant Group, Parlor offers an elevated pizza and cocktail menu. It’s the brainchild of Bendel,  Gabe Whorley, Jared Cook, and Kyle Simpson, with a spirits program from Beverage Director Gabe Whorley, and a kitchen with a six-foot wood stone hearth oven and a French rotisserie, led by Executive Chef Jimmy McAndrew, according to the San Clemente Journal.

Along with introducing these new spaces, the eatery is also hosting a new event called Local Hour. Parlor’s version of happy hour, it takes place from Sunday through Thursday from 4:00 to 5:30 p.m., with food and drink deals at the bar.
