Peltzer Family Cellars is set to elevate its wine experience with a major expansion project worth $4.5 million, records show. The finished result will bring new dimensions to the historic vineyard, located at 40275 Calle Contento.
Construction documents show that work is set to commence in November, and will take 24 weeks to complete. The project entails building three new structures: a 4,281-square-foot wine club building, an expansive 13,009-square-foot two-story tasting room, and a custom outdoor platform.
Designed by architect Mark Bausback, these spaces will include a private lounge and a deli kitchen on the ground floor, three spacious patios, and a retail area for guests to purchase Peltzer wines. Key project partners include Mike Surprenant & Associates as structural engineers and civil engineers from JMM Consultant.
