The Planning Commission in Seal Beach has approved a conditional use permit for a new restaurant at 208 Main Street, according to Sun News. Owned by 208 Main Street LLC, attorney Scott Levitt is listed as the applicant on all project documents.
Not many specifics are available regarding the upcoming eatery, including its name. Plans do state that it will be a full-service restaurant with live entertainment, a new 497-square-foot patio for outdoor dining, and alcohol service. The restaurant’s hours will be Monday to Saturday, 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
A 5,700-square-foot property, the building was constructed in 1936 and used to be a Bank of America, according to Splash Realty Group. It is set to be renovated with large picture windows and new stone veneer. The interior will also undergo changes to accommodate a bar area, kitchen, and restrooms.
Scott Levitt is an experienced attorney specializing in corporate law, real estate, and business transactions. His work dates back to 1997, and he established his own law firm in 2012. He is also a licensed real estate broker and general contractor, his firm’s website states.
