Mexican restaurant Real Tacoz will be bringing their crowd-pleasing food to Fullerton soon. According a building permit filed by the company, the new location will be located at 1137 S Harbor Blvd. in a strip mall at the already busy intersection of Harbor Blvd and Orangethorpe Ave.
While the 1,600-square-foot space used to be home to a Starbucks, expect more of a mom-and-pop feel from Real Tacoz.
The taqueria specializes in fresh, homemade renditions of Mexican classics like tacos, burritos, tortas, quesadillas, and more, all served in a casual, fun environment. While meatier fare like carne asada, carnitas, and al pastor are the stars at Real Tacoz, the concept will have some vegetarian choices too, as well as an Instagram-friendly hot Cheetos burrito.
Owner David Caro, who already operates one location of the concept in Yorba Linda, says Real Tacoz hopes to open doors by the end of December, but added things still are “a little up in the air,” so diners might need to wait until the new year to dig in.
