A Taco Bell restaurant in Yorba Linda is getting a fresh look, with some planned upgrades revealed in permitting records filed with the county. The QSR chain’s location at 22300 Old Canal Rd is set to undergo renovation efforts.

According to Orange County Health Care Agency records, an application for a project was submitted in August. Followed multiple rounds of plan submissions and revisions, approval was granted on October 13, giving authority to construct.

It’s unclear if contracting work is already underway or what the timeline may be. The brand and franchisee did not return requests for comment.

Diversified Restaurant Group (DRG), one of the largest Taco Bell franchisees in the United States, manages this store. This is confirmed in recent job postings, which name Angel City Bell, a subdivision of the franchise group, as the operator.

Founded in 2014, DRG has grown to over 300 locations across its portfolio of Taco Bell and Arby’s brands. The corporation boasts a network of more than 8,000 team members across California, Nevada, Kansas, Missouri, and Alaska, its website shows.
