ROL Hand Roll Bar, a fast casual sushi concept from Kei Concepts, is getting ready to open a new location in La Habra at 1202 S. Idaho Street.
The company’s fourth location appears to be opening in the former home of Round Table Pizza at the Imperial Promenade, according to a recent liquor license application. While an exact opening date has yet to be announced, the expansion adds to the brand’s growing footprint across Orange County, with a menu centered around hand rolls, maki sets, and rice bowls.
ROL Hand Roll Bar currently operates locations in Irvine, Fountain Valley, and Huntington Beach. The concept is part of Kei Concepts, a restaurant group behind brands such as VOX Kitchen, SUP Noodle Bar, and KIN Craft Ramen and Izakaya. Each concept focuses on a distinct dining style, with ROL emphasizing quick service sushi. The La Habra location marks another step in the company’s regional growth.
The Imperial Promenade shopping center serves as a well-trafficked retail and dining destination in La Habra. With a mix of national retailers and local restaurants, the center continues to attract new tenants. This will be an excellent landing space for the ROL Hand Roll Bar, offering strong visibility and steady customer traffic.
The menu features a range of maki sets, including three-, five-, and ten-piece options, served with house-made sauces, ginger, and wasabi. Other items include kaisendon with assorted seafood over rice and build-your-own donburi bowls with customizable proteins. Appetizers such as chili garlic edamame, crispy rice tartare, and cucumber salad round out the offerings.
In addition to its core menu, the restaurant offers lunch bento boxes, party trays, and a selection of drinks like yuzu guava refreshers and matcha beverages. The concept focuses on providing a streamlined sushi experience, balancing convenience with high-quality ingredients.
