Pura Vida Miami, a popular eatery chain from Florida, is expanding to Costa Mesa, making it one of the first stores in the state. The new location will be at 3333 Bristol Street at the South Coast Plaza mall, according to 926OC.
There is signage up at the shopping center that says the brand will debut this fall. It just recently opened its first California cafe in July in Beverly Hills (which What Now covered) and also has Malibu and West Hollywood outposts in the works. Founded in 2012, the company began in Florida, where it has dozens of locations, and has now also spread to New York.
With the tagline “eat balanced, live consciously”, Pura Vida Miami emphasizes fresh, healthy meals with plenty of fruits, vegetables, grains, and proteins. Its menu features various bowls, salads, wraps, sandwiches, snacks, smoothies, and juices.
The Costa Mesa location is part of a wave of activity at South Coast Plaza, with a number of other new retailers announced, including Alo, Mango, Manolo Blahnik, Piaget Sixtie, a Skims pop-up, Venchi USA, and Zara Man. Crate & Barrel, Club Monaco, Harry Winston, The North Face, Bottega Veneta, Max Mara, See’s Candies, and Tory Burch are all getting remodeled.
