Taco Bell is officially starting to roll out its bold new beverage-forward concept, Live Más Café, this summer, and the first location will be in Orange. According to the San Bernardino Sun, the QSR chain will open the concept at an existing store, located at 468 South Main Street.
It will be the first of 30 new Live Más Café locations expected to roll out across Southern California and Texas by this fall 2025, following the success of a test run in Chula Vista. The idea was first teased late last year by Restaurant Dive, and received a positive response during the pilot phase.
The concept will be coming to both corporate stores and franchise units. Diversified Restaurant Group, a large-scale franchisee group, is the operator of the Orange store where it will debut. Another will open in Irvine, and several are slated for LA and San Diego counties.
“We’ll be posting a release soon with more details,” a representative for Diversified Restaurant Group told What Now OC.
Live Más Café differs from the Taco Bell Cantina model by focusing on only non-alcoholic beverages. There will be over 30 unique drink options, including Churro Chillers, specialty coffees, and Taco Bell’s recently released Refrescas, a statement from the corporation reads.
