V Japanese BBQ is undergoing remodels before opening at 23621 El Toro Road in Lake Forest, according to a recent filing with Orange County Health Care Agency.
The project’s contractor estimated that construction will complete sometime in early 2024 with an open date to follow.
The menu will feature Japanese-style BBQ. Customers can choose between like premium beef tongue, short rib, oyster blade, tri-tip or hanging tender. For a higher price, Japanese Wagyu beef is also available. Other meat options will include chicken, duck and Japanese sausage.
To complete the meal, V Japanese BBQ has a variety of mushrooms, peppers, onion, pumpkin or sweet potatoes, or patrons can pick from lettuce wraps and Korean seafood as a side. Seafood lovers will appreciate the selection of prawn, squid, Capelin, scallops and oysters.
The restaurant is owned by Tony Zhang, but so far, no website or social media platforms are available.
