Wetzel’s Pretzels, the beloved fast-casual chain known for its signature soft pretzels, is gearing up for an addition to its SoCal roster. A new store will be opening up at 11490 Fashion Court in Hesperia, construction documents show.
Situated conveniently off the 15 freeway in the western portion of town, the concept is positioned near popular establishments such as Starbucks, Krispy Crunchy Chicken, Circle K, and Ranchero Chronic Tacos.
Records show that it will inhabit a 380-square-foot space and that the project is in the bidding stage for contractors. An estimated completion date for the restaurant’s building is not available. Franchisee Ralph Kim is listed on documents as the operator of this new location. He did not return a request for comment in time for publication.
Founded in 1994, Wetzel’s Pretzels has carved a niche in the snack food market. Each pretzel is hand-twisted and baked to perfection, resulting in a soft and chewy texture that has earned the chain a loyal fanbase. The menu includes classic offerings like salted pretzels, cinnamon sugar pretzels, and various stuffed pretzels, along with pretzel bites, lemonade, and iced tea.
