Whip Tea and Cafe will be coming soon to Huntington Beach.

Owner Trisha Pham says she hopes to open to the public at 7862 Warner Ave #106 in December.

Pham describes the concept as “a modern twist on afternoon tea,” that puts a refined but fun everyday spin on what is usually a special occasion tradition. To pair with the tea, she also has plans for a menu of sweet and savory bites with a focus on creativity and presentation.

The coffee program at Whip also promises to excite. The cafe will feature two propriety roasts highlighting the Robusto beans grown by Pham’s business partner’s family in Vietnam. One roast will be used for traditional Vietnamese style coffees while the other is geared toward espresso drinks.

Pham hope that the coffee selection and Whip Tea and Cafe will help introduce consumers to the versatile and unique bean.

“Everybody knows Arabica beans,” she says. “Robusto is underrated.”

Not only does Robusto produce delish coffee when handled with care, as Pham points out, with twice the caffeine as a traditional bean, “it’s better value.”
