A new Mediterranean restaurant, Rosemary Village Cafe, is in the works in Yucaipa, the city’s planning project update page shows. Permits have been submitted and are under review to construct an eatery at the address 33345 Yucaipa Blvd.
Plans were updated in late April and show the applicant intends to demolish two existing buildings on the .40-acre site and construct a new dining destination. It will be 2,907 square feet, with 1,982 square feet of indoor space and a 925-square-foot patio. Operational hours are planned to be from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily.
A submitted site plan outlines the scope of work, which includes razing the two current structures, building the new restaurant, and adding a parking lot, landscaping, and a gas line extension. Architectural work for the project is credited to Steven Paul Murray Architect & Associates.
The legal entity behind Rosemary Village Cafe was originally registered in 2023 and is currently under Maryam Gharabi, the name listed as the applicant of the project. Gharabi, who appears to also own a licensed daycare facility, did not return requests for comment.
