Hooters, the famous wing restaurant chain, has begun building up a location in The Villages’ Lake Deaton Plaza, according to a recent social media post.
‘The rumors are true…Hooters of America has signed a lease at our Lake Deaton Plaza on SR 44 in The Villages®!!!,” stated Commercial Development Director Geno Jarquin on LinkedIn.
“HMC Hospitality Group is working on due diligence and permitting to build a 4,700 SF restaurant in our shopping center.”
“Excited to see how well they will perform in our market.”
Given the project’s early stage, no opening date has been announced.
