“From Seoul to Kissimmee,” a new Korean restaurant is preparing to embark on “a journey of flavors, tradition, and passion.” It’s called KPC Urban Korean food, and according to submitted plan review documents, it’s opening at 6083 W Irlo Bronson Memorial Highway in Kissimmee.
“KPC Urban Korean Food was born from a passion for authentic Korean urban food and a desire to share the vibrant flavors of Seoul with our community,” says the restaurant’s website. “Our recipes are inspired by the bustling night markets of Myeongdong and the trendy food scene of Hongdae.”
A menu posted on the site includes appetizers like Bulgogi Tater Tots and Mandu. There’s Bibimbap served with proteins like beef bulgogi, spicy chicken, crispy chicken, and crispy tofu, plus plenty of Korean fried chicken, and other choices.
“Every dish we serve is crafted with care, using traditional Korean ingredients and techniques combined with a modern urban twist,” the site continues. “From our signature K-Bomb Fried Chicken to our unique Tater Toast creations, we bring you an authentic taste of Korea right here in Florida. Whether you are craving the comfort of bibimbap or the crunch of Korean fried chicken, we have got something to satisfy your Seoul food cravings!”
Opening in the location on West Irlo Bronson Memorial Highway, KPC Urban Korean Food will join nearby restaurants like Super Tequeños, Dave’s Hot Chicken, Starbucks, and Golden Corral.
