The locally owned ice cream and coffee shop Lero Lero will soon be opening in Orlando, according to a recent filing with the State of Florida. The restaurant will be located in an 1080 square foot suite at 7726 Winegard Road, near eateries such as The Slice House and House of Antojitos.

“We are building from zero and near the end of the process, awaiting inspections and other final details,” Co-owner Sylvia Quintero Lopez tells What Now Orlando

When asked what the offerings will consist of, Quintero Lopez says “It will be a coffee & pastry shop with all types of desserts, espresso, macchiato, gelato, a little bit of everything—especially Venezuelan desserts.”

And why this particular area of Orlando?

“We decided to open the restaurant because I noticed that there was no real coffee & pastry shop in the area. It was a dream since I lived in Venezuela and I hope that this can be a perfect place for all the Venezuelans in the surrounding area to come have a coffee.”

If all runs smoothly, Quintero Lopez anticipates an opening by next month, with high chances that they will be up and running by Thanksgiving.
