Massive Buc-Ee’s Slated for Central Florida

Texas highway eatery Buc-Ee’s is planning yet another area location, according to FOX 35. 

Citing Buc-ee’s Director of Real Estate and Development Stan Beard, the news station reports that the  

74,000-square-foot Ocala travel center is expected to begin construction at the end of 2024 or early 2025. An opening date has yet to be revealed, but it is typical for the chain to take around 16 months to complete build-outs, setting mid-2026 as a reasonable completion window. 

“Ocala’s ideal location at the center of our state makes it prime for new manufacturing opportunities and for visitors looking for a place to stop and grab some Beaver Nuggets. I look forward to seeing the opportunities this award will create for Floridians, businesses and communities in Central Florida,” stated Florida Governor Ron DeSantis.

Known for its wide-ranging selection of serious food offerings, such as pastrami reuben, tacos, bar-b-q, and kolaches. Apart from its sit-down hot food selection, the brand has an astounding variety of beef jerky, fruit, ice cream, and desserts.

No specific address or opening date has been announced.
