Joy Japan Sushi & Hibachi Opening in Palm Bay

The St. Cloud restaurant’s second location will launch in the Shoppes at Cypress Bay

Located on the northeast corner of Babcock Street East and St Johns Heritage Parkway Southeast in Palm Bay, the Shoppes at Cypress Bay is home to businesses like Publix Super Market, McDonald’s and Jersey Mike’s Subs. Soon, it will also be home to Joy Japan Sushi & Hibachi.

Jonathan Shaban, Spectrum News 13 Photojournalist reported on the news in a Facebook post last month, saying Joy Japan was “Coming Soon.” Plan review paperwork submitted for the restaurant by Joy Japan Palm Bay LLC indicates that the opening is moving forward.

The new restaurant appears to be the second location for the Joy Japan Sushi & Hibachi restaurant. located at 2215 Nolte Road in St. Cloud. The St. Cloud restaurant serves up a menu featuring dozens of sushi rolls, including cooked rolls like the Mexican Roll (Tempura shrimp, cucumber Inside, topped with sliced avocado with eel sauce & spicy mayo) and Raw rolls like the Joy Roll (Spicy tuna, snow crab and asparagus topped with avocado, crunch, scallion, masago, spicy may & eel sauce).

“Welcome to Joy Japan Sushi & Hibachi, a traditional Japanese restaurant in St. Cloud, FL!” says the Joy Japan website. “We serve the freshest and most authentic sushi in the city, made with love and precision by our experienced chefs. Our menu features a wide variety of sushi rolls, including sashimi, and tempura, as well as more adventurous options like the Volcano Roll with its fiery habanero sauce. Each roll is crafted with the freshest ingredients, including super-premium fish like tuna, yellowtail, and eel, resulting in a truly sublime dining experience.”
