Located at 813 Virginia Drive, Luna Mosaic Arts is a shop that is all about the creative process of mosaic-making. Heading up the store is owner, artist, and photographer Cherie Bosela:
“As a member of multiple mosaic art organizations, and with her own personal working knowledge and success in the mosaic art world, Cherie brings all facets of mosaics to the table,” says the Luna Mosaic Arts website. “Luna Mosaics offers many of the materials you can find in her work.”
Next month, after 10 years in its Virginia Drive location, Luna Mosaics will be closing up shop and relocating to a new home, reports Bungalower this week.
“We are not closing but will be moving (don’t know where yet),” explains an Instagram post by Luna Mosaics. “10 amazing years at this location. The building was SOLD and while the new landlords say they want to keep us as tenants, they raised the rent a lot. This neighborhood has been having a major transformation, which we’ve been watching over the past several years, knowing that one day this day would come.”
“It’s a huge change but you have the guts, ingenuity, business savvy and vision to move forward and perhaps even improve with this new adventure,” replied one commenter. “I look forward to hearing about your journey.”
The post says a sale will be upcoming to clear out he shop’s inventory so stay tuned for more Luna Mosaics news!
