What Now reported last week on plans for a new Lowe’s Home Improvement to open in Horizon West’s Hamlin Town Center. As it happens, though, that’s not the only new development for the growing retail center.
The Orlando Business Journal reported last week on a number of new restaurants and retailers planned for Hamlin Town Center, including fast-growing bagel shop Jeff’s Bagel Run and super-popular grocery store Publix Super Market.
Publix is known for its emphasis on customer service, with a large network across the Southeastern states, offering groceries and other home goods.
“We’ve come a long way since 1930,” says the Publix website’s About Publix page. “Throughout our history, our associates and customers have helped Publix grow from a single store into the largest employee-owned company in the United States. We thank them by remaining deeply dedicated to customer service and community involvement, and being a great place to work. We’ve earned numerous awards for these efforts.”
The proposed 50,239-square-foot Publix would be the second store in the neighborhood. It would be “capitalizing on the area’s rapid residential growth and population surge,” the Business Journal coverage says.
