Inspection Findings

The inspection identified one risk factor violation and multiple good retail practice violations. The inspection noted mouse droppings along the edges of the front cashier area, kitchen, second-level storage, and basement. Mouse droppings were also discovered on drop ceiling tiles visible from the second floor.

Food safety violations involved potentially hazardous ready-to-eat food stored in the walk-in cooler without proper date marking. Equipment failures, such as cutting boards with deep scratches, were observed.

The inspection report cited several violations related to storage and cleanliness. Single-service items were improperly stored less than six inches above the floor. Moist wiping cloths were lying on equipment instead of being stored in a sanitizing solution. Two cleavers were stored between table edges in areas difficult to clean.

The facility showed signs of poor maintenance, with grease and soil accumulations on the surfaces of cooking equipment. Dust and debris covered the shelves in the cashier and storage areas. The rear refuse area contained grease, mud, and trash accumulations.

The establishment received an unsatisfactory score and was required to take corrective action. The inspector noted that the compliance level will be assessed upon reinspection. The restaurant must address all violations to avoid potential license revocation and legal action.
