Little Italy Pizza II is an Italian eatery known for its pizza offerings. The health inspection conducted at the outlet on Queen St. revealed multiple violations. The report cited improper employee practices. An open beverage container of an employee was lying in the food preparation area.
Black residue was observed on the interior of the ice machine bin. The inspecting officer instructed the person in charge to discontinue the ice machine until it was properly cleaned and sanitized. The officer also observed mouse droppings in the basement area.
The inspection report stated that a slight leakage in the faucet of the handwashing sink. The facility needs proper cleaning in multiple areas. From vents to floor, debris and grease accumulation were observed by the officer and he has been asked to clean and sanitize thoroughly.
