  • Old food residue, dishes, and utensils were found in the hand-wash sink. The sink was cleaned and sanitized during the inspection, and proper usage was reviewed with the person in charge.
  • The report said the paper towel dispenser was empty, and no handwashing reminder sign was posted. Batteries were replaced in the dispenser, and appropriate signage was installed.
  • The food preparation sink was unclean and was being used to store chemicals. Items were removed, and the sink was cleaned and sanitized.
  • No chemical sanitizer was being used on equipment and utensils after washing. The facility did not have sanitizer on-site, but bleach was obtained during the inspection to address the issue, the report stated.
  • The can opener had visible food residue buildup. It was cleaned and sanitized on-site.
  • Loose rodent bait was found under the 3-compartment sink and must be stored in tamper-resistant containers, the report mentioned.
  • Mouse droppings were seen in multiple areas, including the point-of-sale area, upstairs storage, and under bread storage.
  • Moist wiping cloths were left on prep surfaces instead of being stored in a sanitizing solution.
