A spicy national chain with a beak towards expansion is preparing to heat up the Quakertown poultry scene. Dave’s Hot Chicken is opening a new storefront in the Trainer’s Corner shopping center later this year, reports local media outlet WFMZ.

Local franchisee, the Integritty Group, will be opening its latest Dave’s restaurant at 218 North West End Boulevard, in the space that last housed MOD Pizza. The chain, which specializes in Nashville-style hot chicken, will be opening its Quakertown home this April, according to Integritty Group business development manager Poonam Patel.

Dave’s is a relatively young entrant in the massively popular hot chicken market, but has already established itself as a force to be reckoned with. Founded in 2017, the chain has received support and acclaim from high profile fans, including Drake, Maria Shriver, and Samuel L. Jackson.

Dave’s has found great success by keeping its menu simple and delicious. Guests can choose from sliders and tenders, alongside fries. Vegetarian diners aren’t left out, however; the concept offers cauliflower tenders and cauliflower sliders for the meat averse.
