Automaker Subaru of America, Inc. has launched the Subaru Connection Hub, marking the first full redesign of its national dealership network since 2007. The concept reimagines dealerships as engaging, hospitality-oriented spaces. The redesigned dealerships aim to enhance customer experiences and strengthen local community connections.
Subaru Redefines Retail Experience with Connection Hub
Subaru is unveiling its first full dealership redesign since 2007, bringing a fresh, community-focused approach. The brand aims to reflect the Subaru Love Promise, showing care and respect in every customer interaction and being more than just a car company.
The Connection Hub transforms Subaru dealerships into lively community spaces. It features interactive product exhibits and tools for vehicle customization.
The project was created in collaboration with design partner ChangeUp and shaped by feedback from Subaru retailers nationwide. The concept is flexible and scalable for locations of all sizes. Combining cutting-edge technology with nature-inspired design, the Connection Hub honors Subaru’s heritage.
“Following decades of growth and evolution at Subaru, the new Connection Hub reflects where our brand stands today and where we are headed, while reinforcing our long-standing commitment to our customers and communities through the Subaru Love Promise,” said Tim Stallings, Vice President, Retailer Development, Subaru of America, Inc.
“This is more than a design update – it transforms our retailers’ facilities into welcoming hubs for customers and communities to connect, collaborate, and celebrate what they love about our brand,” Stallings added.
Key Features of the Subaru Connection Hub
The Connection Hub will feature a grand pavilion with columns inspired by the Pleiades stars in Subaru’s logo, welcoming visitors into an open, airy space. This design welcomes visitors into an open, inviting space that creates a warm and exploratory atmosphere.
The exterior will showcase a modern glass storefront anchored by the iconic ‘Big Blue’ statement wall. The design will feature local topographic elements. It merges Subaru’s heritage with the character of the surrounding region. The hub will have a gathering place with community tables in cafe-style.
Another feature is immersive screens that will have real-life scenarios of the Subaru models on display. They will be shown in settings like a road trip, off-road adventures and EV/hybrid innovations. Additional displays will feature interactive digital stories, vehicle accessories, and gear.
The hub will also have an interactive digital table. Customers can explore accessories, customize their vehicles and access service options for a personalized experience. Outdoor green spaces will offer family play areas, spots for community events, and dog-friendly zones.
With immersive displays, interactive tools, and outdoor spaces, Subaru is transforming its dealerships into engaging destinations beyond traditional car sales.
