Level99, a large adult playground, is set to open at the King of Prussia Mall in 2027, featuring themed games and dining. The venue will occupy the ground floor of the former JCPenney’s., The Philadelphia Inquirer reported.

Level99 will cover 46,000 square feet and offer more than 50 mini games and team challenges for adults competing solo, in pairs or in groups. One attraction, the Axe Run, has players racing across a narrow beam while dodging swinging axes, trying to hit the finish button as fast as possible without falling off, according to a press release.

The entertainment zone has locations in Providence, Rhode Island; Natick, Massachusetts; and Tysons, Virginia. The King of Prussia location will be its first in Pennsylvania.

“Level99 goes beyond your conventional entertainment venue—it’s a place to play, explore, and actively connect,” Matt DuPlessie, founder and CEO of Level99, said in a statement. “We’re thrilled to introduce King of Prussia guests to a social gaming experience unlike anything else in the market.”

The new location will include a full-service restaurant and bar with local beers, a curated cocktail menu and sharable plates. The brand is known for Wagyu burgers, hand-cut French fries, signature Detroit-style pizza and 30 house-made sauces, all made from scratch, according to its website.

“We’re thrilled to welcome Level99 to King of Prussia, further elevating our commitment to delivering dynamic, experience-driven destinations,” Mark Silvestri, president of development for Simon, said in a statement. “This innovative concept brings a new layer of interactive entertainment to King of Prussia and is a perfect complement to our growing lineup of immersive offerings. It’s another exciting step in King of Prussia’s evolution into a place where shopping, dining, and play converge.”

This will follow the anticipated opening of the Netflix House, set to debut at the mall on Nov. 12.

The large-scale venue lets fans step into immersive experiences, dine, shop and take part in activities based on popular Netflix shows and movies, including Squid Game, Love Is Blind and A Knives Out Mystery.
