This unique Vietnamese restaurant chain from Florida will be coming to 4046 Woodhaven Road in Philadelphia this fall. When What Now Philadelphia spoke to Mai Nguyen via phone, she said that they estimate that the restaurant could open in October or November.

Bánh Mì Saigon Baguette serves the classic and healthy Bánh Mì sandwich but they also serve pho, bubble tea, milk tea, fruit slushes, pastries, and cheesecake desserts. What Now Philadelphia was assured that the Bánh Mì baguettes will be made fresh daily and the restaurant has a lot of choices for anyone who loves a good Bánh Mì. The restaurant has the special Bánh mì đặc biệt, which is the “cold cut” version of the Bánh Mì that comes from Saigon as well as grilled chicken, grilled pork, bulgogi beef, fried fish cake, meatball, and veggie versions of the sandwich.

They have spring rolls, egg rolls, butterfly shrimp, chicken wings, and crab rangoon on the menu as snacks. Just in case you aren’t already familiar with pho, here is the description from the restaurant’s website, “it is a popular Vietnamese Noodle Soup and a recipe truly worth learning how to master. Filled with layers of aromatic and complex flavors, the key to any good pho recipe is the broth.” Bánh Mì Saigon Baguette has many different choices for pho soup fans on its menu namely beef, meatball, chicken, shrimp, and vegetarian pho.

The restaurant will be owned by Bryan Nguyen and Ryan Nguyen. They are keeping the restaurant ownership and management all in the family.
