BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse is set to open in the Broadcast District at Spring Township.

The popular chain will join a new upscale retail and dining development, including 800 residences, scheduled to debut in fall 2027.

“In the heart of Wyomissing, Broadcast District is the premiere destination for elevated shopping and dining. Featuring an expansive Whole Foods Market, lively restaurants and sought after retailers, the district offers countless experiences with unparalleled access,” the development’s website reads.

BJ’s offers a wide menu designed to appeal to different tastes. The restaurant is best known for its Chicago-style deep-dish pizzas, which feature a buttery crust layered with cheese, sauce and toppings. Specialty pizzas include BBQ Chicken, Pepperoni Extreme and vegetarian options.

The menu also features pasta dishes, chicken sandwiches, tacos, burgers, steaks and entrees such as Spicy Peanut Chicken with Soba Noodles, the BJ’s Brewhouse Bowl and New Orleans jambalaya. Desserts include the popular Pizookie, with flavors like chocolate chunk, strawberry shortcake and sugar cookie.

The brewhouse has earned 220 beer awards, and its brewmasters craft everything they serve, experimenting with 60 new beers each year across seven breweries nationwide.

Starting in 1978, they’re “grown to become the energized, welcoming getaway where craft beer is hero and a remarkable menu offset something for everyone to love,” the website reads.

BJ’s will join Shake Shack, First Watch and Nothing Bundt Cakes, along with Whole Foods Market, Sephora, MyEyeDr. and the European Wax Center. Developers have not yet announced the remaining tenants.
